Looking for a fun way to introduce your 4- to 10-year-old to softball? Join us at one of our upcoming FREE "Try Softball" clinics.

KIDS, COME TRY SOFTBALL WITH US IN 2026!

Do you know any 4- to 10-year-old female athletes curious about playing softball next spring and eager to give it a try before committing to next season?

Southfour Fastpitch is hosting FREE "Come Try Softball" events for young players (ages 4 to 10) who have never played before!

Event Highlights:

• Introduction to foundational softball skills (catching, batting, throwing) in a supportive, fun environment.
• Continuous movement and engagement to keep kids active and having a blast.
• A lot of fun while learning, being active, getting sunshine and fresh air while making new friends!

Kids will rotate through skill-building and motor skill challenges led by Southfour coach volunteers, finishing with a big softball cheer!

• Join us at the Nellie McClung School Gym (2315 Palliser Dr SW, Calgary) for one of our upcoming fun-filled evenings!

  • Friday, February 6th - 6:15 PM to 7:15 PM (indoors)

  • Friday, February 6th - 6:15 PM to 7:15 PM (indoors)

  • Friday, March 6th - 6:15 PM to 7:15 PM (indoors)

  • Sunday, April 19th - 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM (outdoors)

When registering, you will be given the option to register for one of the above dates.

These clinics are completely free, but spots are limited — so register early to save your child’s place!

Perfect for first-time players aged 4-10

All equipment provided — just bring indoor runners and a glove (if you have one)

We’ll have a few youth-sized loaner gloves available too!
